My car was *finally* towed this morning after breaking down on Tuesday. They had a rough time of it since its a narrow garage with low ceilings. It turns out I just need a new starter. Of course after towing, parts and labour that comes to $450ish I have to pay the garage for Tuesday & Fridays parking fees. I paid Wednesday and Thursday already

With as much as you put into your car, you might as well get a new one. I'm sure anything would be cheaper than that thing... =)

eventually I will see the problem is that I have two car payments left which will give me an extra $200 per month to counterbalance having to start paying my student loans. I don't want to have to be paying a car payment a $200+ student loan payments on top of my normal bills and living expenses. be it as it is I have no savings. I have what I have.

its weird $450 seems like a drop in the hat. instead of me saying "wow thats alot" i was like "oh thats it"
