graphic design...i have my eyes on york, cause its the only uni i know with a program for graphic design. backups are george brown, sheridan and maybe OCAD but my friends say OCAD are snooty bitches :(

by the way--i find that fine arts people are snobby, not design students so much. they CAN be, but they're mostly just creative geeks. you get some people who are like "i like to paint, but i need a job!" and they don't stick around because of all the deadlines and technical stuff (not just computers, but typography and colour theory). maybe it's different at OCAD.

at concordia we took history and drawing with the general fine arts population and razzed them endlessly, ngl. being in my contemporary canadian art tutorial gave me a headache.

dude don't stress out. just start putting your stuff together now. portfolio day is in november i believe- have 10-15 pieces ready for that. show them around to some of the schools there, get a feeeeeel for the people and the places- that helped me decide where to apply!
and your sketchbook is already awesome, so keep doing what you do.

York is not so much fine art, i got in after all! and i can't draw, paint, or do anything related (doodle yes)!!!
