Had my first *real* midwife appointment today, and it was fabulous. She was thorough, attentive, and knowledgable. the sugar drink isn't AS horrible as i had heard it would be. it is like slightly-extreme orange pop. sucks to have to drink it so quickly though LOL

pregnancy is so wonderful. enjoy every moment! i definitely don't regret taking 1000 pictures of my own belly, and sitting for hours with my own camera taking videos of even the tiniest (and the largest!) kicks.

you haven't felt it move yet? be aware of movements that feel like a goldfish in your tummy!

had my test today, and you're right, it wasn't so bad. i guess i'm not that discerning, because it tasted just like orange pop. the worst part was the waiting and the queasy feeling from not having eaten. i'm still feeling queasy, even though i'm now in my 18th week.

i haven't felt anything yet, though i'm desperately trying to feel this "fishy" feeling everyone talks about. all i feel is my stomach rumbling, but i can hear it, too, so i know it's not the baby, lol

i do need a better camera, since mine is crap (pictures are dark and shakey). i've been getting a weekly bump shot, though!
