Today I was listening to Focus on the Family (a radio broadcast on the Christian station) and they were interviewing a family where the daughter had been sexually abused by a babysitter when she was a child in front of her brother. I've never really understood forgiveness. Because yeah, it feels like you're supposed to say that what the person did is OK. That I'm not supposed to be angry anymore. It's more than that person deserves. I don't really get it.

Yes, forgiveness is difficult. Because there are lots of times when you will get hurt by someone who meant to do it, and doesn't care. And that's not okay.
I understand what it feels like to be forgiven, and this does make the need to forgive others understandable to me. But it doesn't make it easy.
