Dead Witch Walking was really good. There's a series, from what I understand, and they are on my list of stuff to read eventually. I highly recommend it.

Thanks. Although I do have several unread books on my nightstand, I'd like to find something new and interesting, so will look for it in my local bookshop. ♥

What did you think of "The Explosive Child" book? Useful for a teacher? The reviews look good.

I really liked the book. I think the basic method presented is something everyone would benefit from, explosive or not. It's just good communication and problem solving skills in general.

I'm still thinking about how to best implement this with Mack. I'm using the "Emergency Plan B" when needed, but really you're supposed to find the triggers and use a "Proactive Plan B" instead.

There was an entire chapter about using this approach in the classroom. I'm loaning my copy on to Mack's teacher, because I want her to know what I'm doing with Mack at home and because I feel this would benefit ALL of her students.

Thanks for your opinion. I just might have to buy that one.

Glad it seems to be helping with Mack. It seems he's doing better in general lately (from the lack of commentary suggesting the opposite, I'm assuming this). I'm very happy for you and him that things are going so well.
