Well if it helps any... I know before that last year I was living with my mom things werent great.
If anything I would have to say I think your parents are just worried for you and only want the best... not to say that buying a house or Marriage isnt what they want, but it is one of those steps where you see your kids arent the little ones running around always depended on you.
At least that is my take on it.
It will work out and it will get better.
Reality is... yes buying a house and getting married does cost money and can be expensive, but it is definately worth it and will work out. Just it does cause a lot of stress all 'round.
