My husband just had to ask me what the word "snog" meant. Which of course cracks me up.

Anyone know what oriels are in American English? Javi has a converted cookbook that didn't convert the language differences. We're assuming they are basically Oreo's but google has failed me. No, I am not searching for Baltimore's baseball team.

An oriel is a type of window - can we get a bit more context? It could be some sort of typo.

Not sure what is meant by Oriel in the context of a cookbook. I know it as a very small "bay" window.
