Has anyone used a Mason Pearson brush before? How does it perform on Asian hair?

I have one but I don't particularly like mine. Perhaps I bought the wrong one since I've heard lots of rave reviews.

I have the sensitive one which I thought is good for volumising hair. I also have fine hair, like T.

Thanks for sharing! So I presume the brush didn't really volumise your hair and made it flat instead?

there were lot of talks on this brush some years back. IIRC some mentioned the smell of the bristles is very bad.

I don't like mine. Maybe it didn't do wonders like how I want it to be? Or maybe I have fine hair and it didnt make a big difference.

They have brushes tailored to fine hair, even a brush specially for a child's hair!

Which one do you have and why didn't you like it?

I've always wondered if those were any good too. Having such long hair, I'd be super curious..sooo $$$ tho. =/

I'm not gonna be of much help because I haven't brushed my hair in YEARS. I just don't see the need to! There is a school of thought when it comes to such hirsute matters that brushing can actually be detrimental for hair, but then again there's always an opposing camp.

I know what I you mean, I don't even comb my hair now, let alone brush it. But then I decided it's time I start before A starts asking me how come I don't have to comb my hair while he does.
