spiceblueeyes   deserves so much credit for stepping in as a pinch hitter.  She has been so energetic and excited about this whole thing and it was just  tons of fun to work with her.
She came up with some wonderful ideas and an awesome story that incorporated the  ( Read more... )

Nice set of paintings - I too am a sucker for strong contrasts!
PS if you want to try a photoshop-like application for free, I've been using a free download called Gimp which seems to be able to do virtually everything Photoshop can do (at least for beginners, anyhow).

My love of strong contrasts is sometimes my biggest failing cos I start out dark and then have no place to go...LOL

Ooooh, I like the new picture, especially Sam's hair! (I love contrast too)
I'm glad I said yes to pinch hit for you. You were really supportive and awesome through the whole thing, thanks!

Thanks hun! Gotta have a pic based off your story in there somewhere. The school got cropped out...lol but at least we get some apathetic Sam in the car. Poor boy.
This was a blast, I'm glad you decided to say yes too! (You were probably worried that I was such a cow I scared off my previous author...LOLOL)
I'm glad you had fun and I have to add..Omg I love your icon!

Ah, late again. *fail*

I see yet again you made more :D. Awesome! I especially like te second one. There's so much implied in it that we don't get to see, but the setting/ mood really make a great visual impact. You're really good with the whole "setting a scene" thing!

I still LOVE the lighting in the first pic!!

LOL! Thanks my dear! I'm happy with that one too. It's a bit dark but the story that one was for was too. Spiceblueeyes did a good job of fitting the tone of it into this story. I'm partial to the mood that one set so I was really glad I didn't have to drop it.
