I think children can spell the desperation of their mother's who want to be alone.

I would buy a huge house with a library like the one from Disney's Beauty and the Beast. With huge comfy chairs. With a LOCK on the door. And soundproofing so I can't hear them trying to bother me. OOOOH! and a machine that makes time stop on the outside when I go in.

I need to get some hoverboard money!

"Hoverboard money" is making me think of Scott Westerfeld's UGLIES series...heh.

But oh, how I want hoverboard money! I'd use it to fund Lynne Ewing's writing career since her publisher keeps canceling her series. XD

That invisibility cloak sounds pretty nifty, too. I have a feeling your kids could find a way to find you despite that, though. (Perhaps you could make Sam Worthington a babysitter as well as a Personal Hot Guy to help with that? Haha.)

Lynne Ewing? Didn't she write The Daughters of the Moon series? I read those forever ago! I liked those books. I didn't know she was having issues with her series. If I had hoverboard money, I'd share it with all needy writers. :)

Babysitter---If Sam is babysitting, then he's not fulfilling his duties as my personal hot guy! So...babysitter (preferrably someone nice and charming like Mary Poppins) + Sam all to myself = AWESOME.

Yes, she did write DOTM (aka my all-time favorite series)! Both her SONS OF THE DARK and SISTERS OF ISIS series were canceled because of low sales. DOTM had a more complicated history, from what I've heard online. Her publisher didn't like her outlines for books 13 and 14, then she stopped writing for a while because of personal issues, until--finally!--we got a 13th book to conclude the series. (Or something like that. All the fan-sites with this info are gone now...sigh.)

...Not that I'm obsessed or anything. *shifty eyes*
