in no particular order!

1. hanging out with damselfrog and enabling each other to buy nifty things (at the Midtown Global Market, Kitchen Window (mostly because Penzey's was closed already), Dreamhaven (after finally finding the new location), and Surdyk's). and being gifted with her annual truffles, yay!
2. hanging out with draconline and my two younger brothers ( ( Read more... )

Oh honey, no worries at all -- the to-do lists are mostly just for me to make notes rather than anything I expect people to comment on. Though it's been wonderful getting back into regular lj-ing and interaction with people again, at least a little. :)

I bought a bunch of soaps (samples $1 each, I couldn't resist!):
Antonana, her signature scent, which seems like a soft, sweet scent with a delicate rose base
Frankincense and Myrrh
Ylang and Ginger, which sort of smells like mangoes to me
White Ginger and Amber
Pink Sugar
Kush
also a soft, round citrus essential oil called YeaYu (only, damn, she seems to have mixed up the oils, so I have damselfrog's White Ginger and Amber instead)
and 2 lip balms, peppermint and mango-melon.

The last time I left my phone charger at home the nice gentleman at the phone store suggested that it would be ok if I bought a new charger and then returned it if I "found" my existing charger. You might call and ask, apparently this is very common.

(Or perhaps this is a fine opportunity for you to acquire the car charger of your dreams.)

Hee. If the other methods turn out to be sufficiently annoying, I will definitely keep this in mind. Thanks!

I love Chuao. Mmm! I also remember having Spicy Maya hot chocolate with you at Coupa Cafe. :)

There's now a Penzey's in downtown Menlo Park. I was so excited when I went in there for the first time.

Glad you're having so much fun. I landed in BOS last night and am now bundled in the family house in Peterborough, NH. Snow! :) What BPAL did you bring with? ;)

Yay, Penzey's in the Bay Area! And Coupa Cafe. ♥

Glad to hear you've got snow for Christmas, too. :)
/o\ I actually failed to bring any BPAL whatsoever, because I ran out of time while packing! I even failed to bring the bath oils samples I have, which sucks because my parents have the Best Bathtub Ever. Alas. Next time! I need to organize my BPAL so it's more travel-friendly in the future, I think.
