i just stumbled across your lj, and i feel sorta creepy commenting, but i wanted to let you know that you are totally on top of things. i wish i knew as much as you do about world events, cause while i share a lot of your opinions, it's hard to back them up in the emotion-driven conservative town i'm living in.

Oh, well, thank you. I really do try to be on top of my game, so to speak. As busy as we claim to be (which with the most extreme cases, it does truely feel impossible to focus, let alone read), it really isn't all that difficult to keep track. I just fit it into my personal schedule, rather than fitting my schedule around catching up to the news. If you're on the internet a bunch, boy, are you made. The Internet is a godsend. However, it shouldn't be the only source of information. Ironically, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart is a remarkable source for recaps, regardless of the "biased" criticism. If any supporter of the current administration refuses to watch because of its' social commentary, they obviously haven't been watching for very long; the Clinton Administration got its satirical dues
