I've been trying to look up festivals with 灯篭流し (floating lanterns) in Tokyo for the time I'm there (August 13-22), but so far, not too much luck. Doing the search in Japanese also makes my head hurt a little. Wrote out addresses for stuff that needs to be mailed to me and reppu, and Yoshi will send them out for me. I still can't find my Animate card anymore, nor my Initial D card. Just got back to the apartment as the sky started turning a lighter shade of blue/green in the horizon... XD;

The 30th was our 忘年会 at a nice Japanese restaurant in Shinjuku. Our group consisted of: festivewind, Fern, xaevyn, ritsu2(?), youkofujima, midoriyuki, me, maiki, aoisorae, and two Japanese cosplayers -- しばさん(?) and かをんさん.
