Friday we packed our luggage out of our room, left it in storage at the hotel for an hour or so while we went and had a late breakfast. Ate at a place across from Grand Central Terminal; a place we'd passed by the first night we were in the city. Good food. Realized as we were leaving the restaurant that we totally forgot to check out of our room

Okay. Day 3 of NY. Tuesday. Hopped the subway in the morning - headed to go see the Empire State Building. Too bad it was going in the wrong direction. We hopped off the subway, and back onto the one going downtown, instead of uptown. Another beautiful day. Easily found the building a few blocks from the subway, and then went inside. Mable floors

I had Thursday and Friday off this week. Thursday was spent finishing my Christmas shopping. Then went home, finished watching some episodes of Alias (First Season) that I rented. Wrapped gifts. Forever is a long time...and it's almost been that long since I updated this thing. So let's see...It's fall already. It's crisp and cold in the morning. I love it. I have to take a paper towel out to my car each morning to wipe off the windows because I don't wait for them to defrost...the next car I get I need to think about getting a remote

Last week was a hard one. Monday morning 2 people from the marketing team were let go. It was a shock to all of us, and it has taken some time to readjust and not be sad.
