The workshop lesson I'm having the most trouble applying is "80% selling, 20% telling" [as applies to a resumé]. One of the examples given:TELLING: Managed growth in the company's Western US markets
SELLING: Closed $200M in sales (125% of quota), building Western Region to #1 revenue producer in the company.

Ugh, that's a hard thing to do- Sell. Like, when my last company moved all the offices accross the street, I single handedly rebuilt the Admission's cabinet system to make it very efficient to pull any kind of marketing material needed. It was more efficient, but how do I gauge an exact number?

That sounds pretty good, actually. "Rebuilt [or restructured] Admissions cabinet [/filing] system for [estimate a percentage] increased efficiency." Point was I assumed/was taught to include job responsibilities when accomplishments seem a better grab, as it were.

The percentage estimate is tough, but sometimes we gotta BS the numbers.
