But they get the idea that herding cats is a difficult task because if you try to chase a herd of cats, they'll all rin in different directions. However cattle can scatter as well, although not as readily so it's like liquids and gasses. but see, the trick is that if you're going to herd anything, you would have multiple people assisting and using obstacles to limit the choices of directions the herd can go. So you could herd cats, you just have to plan ahead a little and get some assistance.
