I've got it BAD
Looking at how I've been posting this month, I have not posted on Tuesdays or Saturdays at all. XD Not intentional, I'll say that much.
Hello to yunaura and thelovemafia, and welcome to my journal! I hope I don't come off as too boring. XD
First time I met Yun was at Fanime this year, and saw her again at PMX. =D
As for Chris, hahaha... blame fandom. I was searching WC on Google, and then found Maiki's WC fanart of Neal and Peter, but the image directed back to Chris's LJ, and I mentioned that to Maiki. And seems we have some mutual friends, so I went and added her. =) So that's that.
While my last entries have been about WC, that's not so bad... I feel sorry for the people on Twitter who have to see my tweets about it hourly. XD You should know by now that when I get into something that I really like, I kind of go a bit overboard, right? XD Anyways, it's been a while since I got into something new. (Though, yes, I'm a little late to WC, but not for lack of trying.)

Exhibit #1:
Exquisite fic by sam_storyteller on Dreamwidth (NC-17, Peter/Neal/El)
It's currently 14 chapters long, 7 chapters for S1, 7 chapters for S2 up until the mid-season finale. It's not that I even ship any pairings in this series... I read it because it was by sam_storyteller! XD I also read the only Harry Potter fic that I'll ever read by her (I think it's a "her"? ^^;), called The Rules of Being A Godson (PG-13, Teddy/James, post-series). The WC fic is oh so good! But I guess if the pairings are not your cup of tea, don't read it. The writing is... the way it reads, it's so close to canon. ♥ Well, sans the actual coupling. XD;

Ahhh, this video is so hilarious and cute and awesome, all rolled into one! Too bad I didn't get into the fandom earlier. I hope others I know were able to witness this firsthand at Comic Con this year. Since I chanced upon this video, I've been watching it at least once a day. XD I totally want an animated icon. XD;;;;
Exhibit #3:
The ONLY doujin (Peter/Neal) in existence it seems is by a Chinese artist called sashimi. She seems to have 9 copies left of her "2Miles." doujin, which are up on a Chinese auction? site here. I'd totally go for it because of the novelty of the item, but 1) I cannot read simplified Chinese (traditional is just a tiny bit easier), and 2) I don't know how the site works anyways. (some info found originally through thelovemafia) So, gotta let it pass.
Other than that, I've decided I want to attempt to recreate the amber music box from the show. Yes, I'm crazy. But I can't stop thinking about the crafting aspect of it! I don't even want to deal with the insides, yet I found that I have gone and screencapped the sheet music that was in Diana's bag in "Company Man" (S2E8). And I have located a really informative DIY page. The music is taken from Mozart's "Sonata No.2 in F Major, K 280, Movement II - Adagio," but customized for the show.
Well, all of this definitely helps stave off the (now less than) 2 months wait before the season starts up again in January. =)
