Author: JenJM (me)
Pairing: Gabe/William, Mikey/William, Pete/Patrick, Brendon/Ryan, Jon/Spencer and many a few others.
Rating: NC-17 overall
Characters: Gabe Saporta, William Beckett, Pete Wentz, Patrick Stump, Mikey Way, others. Pretty much everyone from Cobras, Academy, FOB and MCR. Plus Maja Ivarsson of The Sounds, and I can tell you Green Day will appear somewhere along the way.
Word count: 96,000 total words
Warnings: language, blood, violence, killings, all the stuff you can find in a story where people kill vampires and vice versa. But these vampires have sense of humor.
Disclaimer: Gabe and William aren’t mine ç_ç they belong to each other themselves. Actually no one in here belongs to me, and it’s so sad.
I really don’t mean to offend anyone and nothing of what I wrote in this story is to be considered real, it’s all fiction.
Author’s Notes: Pete being a vampire and hunting others vampires is kinda taken from FOB’s video for “Sixteen candles”, all the other stuff is a product of my twisted mind.
Title from Cobra Starship’s “Prostitution is the world’s oldest profession (And I, dear Madame, am a professional)”.
As ever, feel free to report any mistake. Constructive criticism is welcome, feedback makes me happy!

Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3
“What the fuck!?” Brent yelled, standing from his chair when he heard a loud bang. The door of the room slammed open and Pete threw Tom on the floor, his face covered in blood.
“Where’s Ryan?” Pete asked, wiping his blood-covered hands on his jeans. Brent’s eyes went to a door on the right side of the room, but he didn’t talk. Without hesitation Pete opened it and saw Ryan on the floor, his hands chained to the wall.
Brendon reached Pete and quickly stepped inside, dropping to his knees next to his unconscious boyfriend. He cupped Ryan’s face with his hands and tears formed in his eyes.
“He’s cold…he’s…” Brendon shook, looking up sharply as Patrick shoved Brent in the room. “What the fuck did you do to him?”
Brent looked at Pete as the vampire grabbed him by his neck, lifting him. “I…” Brent fought for air and his eyes half closed. “I turned him.”
Pete shoved him down again, looking at Ryan, unbelieving. “You did what!?”
“I tried to turn him, but…” Brent looked at Ryan, his voice showing only fear as he stood slowly. “He’s not…I keep giving him blood, but he…he’s dying.”
“Son of a bitch, I’m gonna kill you!” Brendon growled and attacked Brent, sending them both on the floor.
They rolled in the next room, where Spencer and Jon where finishing to kill the other vampires. Brent kicked Brendon away and ran for the door, sending Spencer against the wall and disappearing in the dark hallway.
Brendon stood quickly and looked at the hallway, then ran back to Ryan.
“Ryland, get that little fucker.”
Ryland flew from the room, immediately followed by Patrick, as Jon tried to wake Spencer, who was obviously injured since his shirt was soaking in blood that wasn’t there before. Pete kneeled next to Ryan, touching his pale face. Brendon did the same, resting his boyfriend’s head on his lap.
“Please, Ryan, don’t…” Brendon closed his eyes, his hands caressing Ryan’s head as he leaned down to whisper in his ear. “Please…stay with me, sweetheart, don’t…don’t leave me, I can’t…I…”
“It’s too late to save him, he’s been turned.” Pete muttered, looking up at Brendon with a serious expression. “But Brent’s blood isn’t strong enough to complete the process.”
“But if he gets blood, vampire blood that is strong enough, he…he can make it, right?” Brendon looked at Pete in the eye, hopeful.
“We could try.” Pete nodded slowly, not tearing his eyes away from Brendon’s.
“Try, please.” Brendon whispered. “Try, don’t…don’t let him go without fighting.” Pete moved his gaze from Brendon’s pleading eyes to Ryan’s pale face. “Please, Pete.”
Pete took a deep breath, nodding slowly. “Okay.” He whispered, showing his fangs and biting his own wrist. Ryan was like a brother to him, a little brother he’d swore to protect at any cost. He’d saved him once, he couldn’t let him die now, not when he could’ve avoided the entire situation.
Pete brought his bleeding wrist to Ryan’s lips, letting several drops fall in his mouth, waiting. After a few seconds Ryan moved his head, trying to get more blood. Pete brought his wrist closer and Ryan started to suck on it, his eyelids moving but not opening.

One day later
William woke up suddenly, hearing the doorbell rang. He looked around and realized he’d fallen asleep again in the library, and his neck protested. Outside it was dark and the fire in the fireplace was gone. He shivered as he stood, heading for the door, taking a gun with him.
Pete had called him that morning, telling him they had Ryan and he was going to be fine. Something in Pete’s voice hadn’t convinced him, but it was enough to know Ryan was safe. Anyway, they were supposed to be back the following night, so it couldn’t be them.
He looked through the peep-hole and frowned, his hand going for the lock.
“You?” William asked, clearly confused as Mikey Way entered the house, looking around.
“It’s good to see you too, sunshine.” Mikey replied, smiling at William.
“Don’t get me wrong, I’m kind of happy to see you, but this isn’t exactly the best moment.” William closed the door and addressed Mikey a little smile, putting his gun away.
“I know.” Mikey’s smirk turned into a worried frown, as he titled his head to get better eye contact with William. “I’m here to help.”
“They found him, they’ll be back tomorrow night.” William saw relief in Mikey’s eyes and bit on his lip, leaning against the closed door with a faint flirtatious smirk. “Gerard knows you came here to hel--”
William’s words were stopped by Mikey’s icy lips closing on his, as the vampire pressed himself against William’s body. William grinned in the kiss, muttering something like ‘This is helpful’ while his arms circled Mikey’s neck.
“I thought this was reserved to Pete.” William whispered on the vampires’ lips, smirking.
“D’you have to mention him every single time?” Mikey rolled his eyes, but the smile didn’t leave his face. “That was a long time ago.”
“Before he met Patrick.” William arched an eyebrow, nibbling at Mikey’s lower lip.
“Before I met you.” Mikey replied, kissing his way down to William’s neck, then up again to his chin.
“You should be careful with words.” William whispered, slipping from Mikey's grip and taking his hand, starting to drag him upstairs. “Or I might think you’re actually looking for something less material than sex.”
“I’ll be careful.” Mikey smirked, following the boy to his room.
The thing was, William knew Mikey was Pete’s guilty pleasure. Pete needed to have Mikey around from time to time, and even if they weren’t having sex anymore there still was a strong bond between them. William also knew it was Pete who had turned Mikey, long before William was born, long before meeting Patrick, long before Patrick became Pete’s mate.
Patrick knew it too. And he wasn’t a jealous type. He knew that at the end of the day - or well, the night - he was the one Pete belonged to, the one Pete loved more than his own damned soul. And he belonged to Pete as well, so he was mature enough to accept his little weakness.
But William knew it was something he wouldn’t be able to accept, so all he and Mikey shared was the bed, and comfort when it was needed. They were somewhere between friends with benefits and fuck buddies, and William didn’t care if it made him a slut, he just knew he needed to be held in someone’s arms from time to time, to just forget everything. And Mikey could be a good friend too, sometimes.
So, when his back hit his bed softly he smiled up at Mikey, biting his lower lip and moving his hips in a clear invitation as his legs parted to make room for Mikey.
“I love to see you like this.” Mikey whispered, showing his fangs and teasing William’s jaw with them. “I love the way you’re just so eager to spread your legs for me whenever I’m around.” Mikey licked William’s lips as his hands worked slowly on the boy’s pants. “I’m kind of flattered.”
William trailed his hand in Mikey’s hair, looking up and nibbling at the vampire’s lip again, this time to hold back from moaning. “We’re up for dirty talk tonight, aren’t we?” William managed to say, a grin stretching his lips.
“We are.” Mikey smirked and bucked his hips against William’s, covering the boy’s mouth with his own and swallowing every moan.
~~
Pete looked around as they crossed another empty park, heading for their van on the near street. Ryland had gone to get his own car, agreeing to wait for them at the car park.
Pete was carrying Ryan with no effort, glancing at his pale face from time to time. The boy hadn’t woken yet, and Brendon hadn’t left his side for one single minute since they had left the nest.
Spencer had been injured quite badly and Jon was helping him to stay upright, but the wound didn’t look good. All the vampires were dead, except for Tom and Brent, who had managed to run, somehow.
All in all, it should have been a hell of a lot easier than that, considering they were just regular newbies. And Pete was just trying to understand what he’d done wrong.
He glanced at the group and shook his head, trying to focus and leave commiseration for better times. They still had to get home, and maybe it was going to take longer than he’d thought.
~~
Mikey left before dawn, not sure it was a good idea to be there when Pete and the others came back, and William agreed. He watched the vampire get dressed and didn’t say a word as Mikey approached him and leaned down.
“See you, sunshine.” Mikey whispered on William’s lips, kissing him briefly. “I’ll probably be back with Gee when Pete gets home.”
“Okay.” William trailed his hand in Mikey’s hair, bringing him down to steal another kiss before letting him go. He loved Mikey’s hair, it was soft and the honey-like color made the vampire look more delicate than he really was. Because William knew that ‘delicate’ and ‘Mikey Way’ was the most naïve and completely wrong combination he could come up with to describe the vampire. “Thanks.”
Mikey smiled and walked to the door, stopping on the doorstep and turning to look at William.
“By the way, I smelled Saporta on you the moment I stepped in the house.” Mikey informed with a grin before going out, leaving a surprised William with a half amused half confused smile on his face.

A few minutes later William was walking downstairs to check on Gabe, knowing that he was still there. They had an alarm system for a reason after all.
“Rise and shine, Saporta.” William entered the cell and immediately looked for the vampire, finding him sitting with his back against the wall and his eyes closed. “You okay?” William asked with a frown, not even realizing he had asked.
“Sure.” Gabe looked surprised by the question, but didn’t comment, just showed a weak grin. “Haven’t seen you in three days.”
“I told you I had work to do.” William smiled back and put down a bag, going for the switch.
“I’m sure you had.” Gabe chuckled, shaking his head and standing as the chains disappeared in the wall.
When Gabe was secured to the wall William retrieved the books and put them near the bag, causing the vampire to frown.
“I’m gonna unlock the chains, stay where you are.” William took out a solar gun from the bag and Gabe nodded, not sure what was going on. The boy pushed the last button on the right, but nothing happened.
“Where are we going?”
“Someplace less boring and a little more decorative.” William grinned at the vampire and tried again to push the button, but again nothing moved. “Since I still feel like I owe you something.”
“Told you, your debt is paid off, you don’t need to get me in a better cell.” Gabe smiled, sincerely surprised by the boy’s intentions.
“It’s not about the deal.” William pushed the button a third time then sighed, turning to look at Gabe. “You helped us.”
Gabe shrugged, but the smile was still on his face. Then his attention turned to the switch. “What’s wrong with that?”
“Pete probably disabled the function before leaving.”
“That sounds kinda bad.” Gabe watched as William took his bag, searching for something. He found a little key and looked at Gabe then at the button on the wall, biting on his lower lip.
“If I get close, you’re gonna hurt me?” William asked, not taking his eyes away from the switch.
“No.” William felt the smile in Gabe’s voice and turned. For a couple of seconds neither of them talked, and the vampire’s smile faded a bit. “But you’re not gonna believe me, so just leave me here, it’s okay.”
William bit on his lower lip and thought about it. He knew it was dangerous, he knew it was stupid, but he needed to try. He needed to know he could trust Gabe. Saporta, not Gabe, his brain told him, and William shut it out.
Without a word he reached the vampire, his eyes focused on his face. A small smile tugged at his lips as he saw the surprise in Gabe’s gaze.
“Just don’t move.” William said before slipping the key in the lock of the handcuff around Gabe’s right wrist. With a little click it opened and William moved to the left one, the gun still pointing at Gabe’s chest despite there were just a few inches between their bodies.
“William.” Gabe called, his voice closer than William had expected it.
“What?” The left handcuff clicked, but neither of them moved.
“Can I do a little movement without causing you to shoot me three hundred and fifty-nine times?” Gabe asked, a little grin stretching his lips.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea.” William started to take a step back, but Gabe moved his arm quickly, keeping him in place. “I’m gonna shoot you in exactly ten seconds, if you don’t let me go.”
“Just…” Gabe closed his eyes and leaned down, his lips barely touching William’s temple as his hand trailed up to the boy’s head. William closed his eyes without realizing it, and felt Gabe’s cold fingers play briefly with his hair. “I wanted to touch you. Just once. Sorry.”
William opened his eyes when the contact ended and he saw Gabe raise his hands where the hunter could easily grab them. Without a word William nodded and took a few steps back.
“Grab the books.” It was all William said before retrieving his bag and going to stand near the door, waiting.
Gabe took the books and exited the cell when William gestured him to step outside.
“Try to run and you’re dead.” William warned as they started to walk in the dark hallway. “I’m a very good shooter.”
“Why would I want to run?” Gabe asked with a shrug, shooting a grin back at William.
“Right, why?” William chuckled, shaking his head and stopping. “Here.” He pointed at a door on their left. “Go in, take a shower if you want. Here’s some fresh clothes.”
Gabe took the small bag William was handing him and put the books on the floor, his eyebrows arched. “What if I run?”
“It has no windows.” William repressed a grin, opening the door and turning the lights on. “Just move your ass. I’ll be right here.”
“You’re not coming?” Gabe asked with an exaggerated pout.
“Just go in.” William laughed and shook his head, closing the door after the vampire had entered the room.
With a sigh he sat down in the corridor, eyeing the books and taking the first one. The Picture of Dorian Gray, apparently Gabe’s favorite, since William had noticed he had been reading it over and over again since the day William had brought the books.
William heard the noise of the water in the near bathroom and relaxed his back against the wall, putting the book back on the pile and closing his eyes, knowing he had to wait for a while.
The memory of Gabe’s lips on his skin and the feeling of careful fingers playing with his hair came back, vivid and so real. William shook his head, trying to send those images away, his eyes opening and focusing on the wood of the closed door in front of him.
The water stopped, and just a few minutes later the door opened slowly, causing William to snap out of his train of thoughts. He stood and kept his gun ready, sighing.
“Finally, I thought you were gonna --”
“Seriously, William, a purple hoodie?” Gabe interrupted him, stepping outside with his old clothes in his hand. “Do I really need to yell to the world ‘I’m a gay vampire with a dubious sense of fashion’?”
“Looks good on you.” William smirked eyeing Gabe’s outfit, consisting in a pair of tight dark jeans, a black t-shirt with a little golden cobra printed on it, and the purple hoodie. Basically the same kind of clothes he had before, only the color of the hoodie was more…cheerful.
“It’ll take a while to get used to.” Gabe looked down at himself, a little grin spreading on his lips. “But maybe it’s not that bad.” He added putting his old clothes in the empty bag he still had in his hand. “I actually am a gay vampire after all, right?”
“At least your sense of fashion isn’t dubious.” William grinned back, taking the bag with the old clothes. “Don’t worry, you’ll have them back.”
“What about my cap?” Gabe asked, looking at William with an eyebrow raised. “When Pete caught me I had a baseball cap on.”
“I’ll check if it’s with the stuff Jon put in the stock room.” William gestured Gabe to take the books and to resume walking. “C’mon, I don’t exactly have all day, you know?” He added with a grin.
They walked for a few minutes in silence, William’s gun ready to fire, even if the hunter was starting to think it was completely useless. Gabe didn’t look like he was planning to run. Stay focused, Beckett, he’s still a prisoner.
They reached the new cell and William opened it gesturing Gabe to step inside and following him quickly, the door closing after them. The room looked nicer than the other cell, the walls were painted in white, the floor had dark tiles, and a bed sat against the wall in the left corner.
“It’s not the Hilton, but it has a bed at least.” William looked at Gabe and saw him look around. “Still have to chain you, though.”
“I know.” Gabe just said, going to the bed and putting the books down, sitting slowly. He looked paler than usual - for a vampire, anyway - and William frowned.
“You okay?”
“Just a bit hungry, but it’s fine.” Gabe chuckled, standing slowly and holding his wrist out to William. “You’d better chain me before I start to feel like having a snack on you.”
“You have better self-control than that.” William put the bag on the floor and went for the chains. He pushed Gabe gently against the wall and secured the first wrist, his fingers lingering on Gabe’s cold skin. “I’ll go grab some blood in Pete’s stash.” William added, closing the other handcuff.
“He’ll get mad.” Gabe raised an eyebrow, studying William’s face. Then something else captured his attention on William’s neck, a hickey. He said nothing, saving comments for a better time.
“He’ll get over it.” William shrugged returning Gabe’s gaze and making eye contact. “You’re starving.”
“I can take it.” Gabe looked away and shrugged, but William was just inches from him and he could feel his hands shaking. “You shouldn’t care.”
“Well, I do.” William stood quickly, walking back to the bag, putting the key away. “I’ll be right back.”
Suddenly, an acute sound started, signaling an alarm had gone off and Gabe yelled in pain, unable to cover his ears.
“No no no no!” William yelled, running for the door. But before he could reach it, an opening appeared on the ceiling and a solid grate came down, blocking the door, quickly followed by four thick iron bars. “Fuck!” He jumped back and kicked the barred door.
The high-pitched noise stopped and Gabe cursed, shaking his head. “What the fuck was that?”
“The lockdown system.” William kicked the door again, gaining nothing more than a loud noise. “I forgot to disable it before coming downstairs.”
“So now someone’s in the house and you’re locked here.” Gabe raised an eyebrow, not sure he’d understood the situation.
“Whoever it is, they can’t do much. The system locks down every single door and window.” William passed a hand through his hair and closed his eyes, thinking fast. “They’re trapped. Just like me.” William shook his head, unbelieving. “Stupid stupid stupid.”
“Can’t you unlock it or something?”
“Technically I could.” William looked at Gabe with a frown. “If there weren’t two feet of iron between me and the nearest control panel. We didn’t put them in cells, kind of risky, you know?”
“I can try to take the door down, if you want.”
“It won’t work.” William sighed, resting his back against the wall. “The iron’s blessed, you’d just hurt yourself.” He looked at the vampire, a little smirk on his lips. “But thanks.”
Gabe shrugged, grinning back, his arms tugging at the chains. “The switch won’t work too, right?”
William shook his head, then bit on his lip, thoughtful. “Wait.” He took out his phone and silently prayed for it to get the signal. “We’re lucky. The other cell had walls too thick for the signal to pass.” With a grin he dialed a number, waiting.
“What did you do this time?” An amused female voice asked before William could say anything.
“I kind of need your invaluable help, my only light in the dark.”
“It must be bad, if you’re calling at 5 in the morning, with such a profusion of nice words.” Maja sighed, but the hunter could hear the smile in her voice. “Tell me where and what, sweetie.”
“I got locked in by the lockdown system and I kind of can’t get out. Can’t reach any control panel to unlock it.” William bit on his lip, ready to hear the witch start a long speech about responsibilities.
“Don’t worry Bill, that happened to everyone one time or another, I was wondering when it was gonna be your turn.” Maja laughed, truly amused by the situation. “Can’t be there before tonight.”
“It’s okay, I’ll wait.” William sighed, resting his back against the wall and letting himself slide down. “I have company.”
~~
“Pete, we need to stop for a while, Spence’s getting worse.” Jon whispered to his boss. Patrick was driving and Pete sat next to him. Jon and Spencer were on the first seats right behind them, and Mike, Ryan and Brendon in the back seats. “I need to get meds and stuff. Need to get him a doctor.”
“You’re a doctor.” Pete replied, looking at his friend.
“A real one.” Jon shook his head, his usual funny attitude completely gone. “Pete.”
“I’m fine.” Spencer tried to move to make his point, but he had to bite on his lip to stifle a cry.
Ryan moved his head to the side, but didn’t wake up. Brendon leaned down and whispered something to him, his hand caressing the boy’s head.
“There’s a clinic not far from here.” Patrick informed, looking at the navigator. “They will make less questions than a hospital.”
“Okay, but we have to leave before the sun comes up. That gives you an hour.” Pete replied, looking at his clock.
“It’ll be enough.” Jon went back to Spencer, his hand grabbing the boy’s one. “It’ll be enough.” He whispered again, kissing the knuckles and gaining a soft smile from Spencer.
“Stubborn ass.” Spencer replied, but entwined their fingers, and Jon squeezed his hand gently.
