I think yesterday's TNP did say they worked in the same lab though.

Hmmmm, even so, how does one automatically conclude that two events are very likely linked just because the two people happened to work in the same lab?

I mean, conjecturing that they could be linked and saying they are very likely linked (plus that vivid context) are very different things altogether....

No wonder they say that if stupidity were a valuable natural resource, this country would be very rich indeed.

This country would have been very rich if they stopped wasting so much paper to write their gossipy news articles. What amazes me is that NYT, IHT and other major newspapers are really thin, yet manage to put so much more sense (even if I don't always agree with them) into a square inch of paper.
