Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Chapter 4 Chapter 5
“Meeting at ten o’clock,” Kame reminded as he entered Jin’s office.
“Is it ten o’clock already?” Jin asked, a bit surprised as he looked away from the business reports he haven been reading.
“Hmmm, not actually. You might be late so, I came by to remind you.” Kame said awkwardly. After the little fight between them, they haven’t brought the topic up again but decided to forget about it. Kame didn’t mention anything to Jin about the break up between him and YamaPi. He’s not yet ready to talk about it, and he knew Jin is not interested about it anyway.
“Mou~ Kazu… I am never late,” Jin whined.
“Sheesh, yeah, yeah. No one’s going to believe that.”
“Oi~”
“Need help with those?” Kame asked as he pointed at the papers the older man is holding.
“Hai, hokey! Be useful to me while you’re here in my office ne,” the older man lent him a pen and a memo pad. “Could you write the instruction for the manager in Osaka branch regarding about the orders of Ueda for his bridal shop. He keeps on pestering me. They need to deliver it on Friday or else… Ueda will wreck my neck or worse.” Jin made a shiver gesture and Kame can’t help but laughed.
“Oi~ Kazu… You knew how fussy that guy is! He always gave me threats if I mess up.” Jin pouted.
“Yeah, I know. Ha-ha! He can’t help it anyway, ‘coz you always messing up things to his bridal shop. Ha-ha!” Kame laughed harder.
“Eh? Hey! I didn’t~”
“Remember one time he told you he needs a white paints? You gave him white PINS!” the younger man exclaimed and laughing hard again.
“What?? I heard he said PINS not PAINTS!” Jin complained.
“You need to clean up your ears, Bakanishi.” Kame chuckled.
“Mou~ just write the instruction, Kazu. Hmp.” Jin pouted.
“Fine. Fine.” Kame can’t help but smile. He started to write on the memo pad but was soon stopped. Jin noticed this and curiously looked at him.
“Kazu-chan~ you’re not taking an exam. Why are you thinking so hard?” Jin asked with furrowed eye brows.
“Wait, I’m thinking about the name of Tat-chan’s bridal shop. It’s on the tip of my tongue but… I can’t remember it.” Kame tilted his head at the side as he closed his eyes and caressed his forehead, trying hard to remember.
“Ka.zu-chan~ I didn’t know you’ll forget about that name, you’re the one who keep on saying the shop’s name non stop the last time we visit there ne…”
“Yeah, I know…” the younger man thinks again but heaved a sigh, giving up. “I really can’t remember.”
“Kazu-chan~ you’re getting old~ bleh~” Jin chuckled cheekily as he tucked out his tongue.
“Argh, just say it already. I don’t want to think again, my head is staring to ache. And we still have a meeting, remember?”
“We should really pay Ueda’s bridal shop a visit one of these days ne…” the older man suggested while grinning like an idiot.
“I agree. But first, tell me the name-”
“Let’s Get Married,” Jin replied swiftly, talking about the bridal shop of Ueda that the younger man forgot. “Let’s Get Married, Kazu,” the older man said slowly with stress in every word as he noticed Kame’s sudden puzzled look.
“O-oh! Souka! How could I forget such a charming name? Ha-Ha.” Kame exclaimed gladly, he almost smack his head because of being slow. “At least, I remember the address. Isn’t it ironic?” Kame said proudly.
“Haha… well, write it down, Kazu, before you forget again.” Jin joked.
“Let’s Get Married,” Kame whispered unconsciously as he wrote down the name on the memo pad.
“Are you proposing to me? Ka~zu-chan~?” Jin said as he chuckled and grinned at Kame. “I might say yes, you know…”
Kame just gave him a glare. He’s not enjoying this teasing at all but instead he felt pain in his heart.
“Come to think of it… that’s not a bad idea!” Jin continued teasing the younger man affectionately.
“What are you talking about?” Kame asked irritably as he looked straight at the older man’s brown orbs.
“Us… getting married,” Jin answered cheekily followed by a seductive winked he flashed at Kame.
“Oh! Stop it! I thought you’re straight? Are you checking me out huh? Don’t make fun of me, okay? Argh! Just stop this non sense! It’s not fun at all! Hmp.” Kame stood up heatedly and crossed his arms. “Well, before I forgot to tell you, don’t forget about the birthday celebration of Okaa-san this Friday. Don’t be absent, or she’ll get mad at you, especially at ME.”
“Hai… Hai… I won’t forget about that, besides we’re going together, right?”
“Yeah, well… You’ll be the one driving, okay?” Kame demanded.
“EEEHH?! Nande?” Jin whined.
“’Coz I don’t want to drive.” Kame replied, smirking evilly.
“You are sooooooo mean, Kazu~ Hmp~ well, what can I do? I’m always your slave. Hmp~ but neee…. remember to make rice balls for me!” Jin pouted childishly.
“Yeah yeah, sure. I’ll go first. Tag along, okay? The meeting will start soon.” Kame turned around and walked towards the door to leave.
“HAI~ KAZU-hime-chan~” Jin answered as he dramatically stood up and saluted like a soldier.
When Kame went out from the older man’s office, Junno, Jin’s secretary mentioned that his brother Shuji came by but didn’t bother to knock at the office because the said man heard that he and Jin were having a serious discussion so he didn’t want to butt in. Kame furrowed his eye brows, a bit confused of his big brother’s action.
--------------------
“OKaa-chan!!! Here comes Kazu nii-chan! Annd Jin nii-chan!” Yuuya, Kazuya’s little brother exclaimed happily as he bounced up and down.
Both Jin and Kazuya’s mother, Kamenashi Shizuku and Akanishi Ryu turned their heads to the new comer and gladly meet the two men towards the gateway. Kamenashi Miroku hurriedly came out from the house while pushing the wheelchair of his bestfriend, Akanishi Hayato. Lastly, Kazuya’s big brothers came out, Shuji and Kosaku with Jin’s little brother, Reio along.
Kazuya and Jin bowed politely at their parents, happy that they can gather like this again. Kame noticed Jin walked to his father, Hayato who’s having a hard time to his current situation. It’s been eight months after the sudden car accident that caused Hayato injured his legs. The doctor said that Hayato will walk again but the old man was too depressed to take up the treatment. And that fact made Jin sad about his father.
Kame heard the exchange words of the two men, he can’t help but smile. Jin’s sincere and worried tone really is one of a kind.
“Oh! My baby Kazuya is here finally!” Shizuku hugged Kazuya tightly and ruffled her son’s hair happily. “My birthday’s complete already ‘coz all of you are here!”
“O-Okaa-san! U-ugh.. c-can’t b-breathe,”
“Ow! Sorry, baby!”
“Okaa-san, I’m not a baby anymore… ” Kame pouted.
“You will always be my baby forever, Kazuya,” Shizuku smiled warmly at Kazuya who just pouted more.
“Mou~ Okaa-chan! What about me???” Yuuya whined as he pouted too.
All of them laughed.
“Anyway, how are you, Okaa-san? Don’t push yourself too much about the wine company, okay?” Kazuya asked tenderly.
“Ow~ you’re so sweet baby Kazuya, don’t worry… Okaa-chan can manage ne…”
“Okaa-sa-” Kazuya was about to complain again because his mom called him a baby again but was cut off by his brother.
“Okaa-san, don’t forget that he’s not a baby anymore ne…” Kosaku chirped in meaningfully.
“Oh! Yeah! So I heard,” Shizuku giggled as she remembered something.
Eh? Kame looked puzzled.
“So you heard what?” Kame asked nervously.
“Oh! It’s nothing! I know you will tell us that wonderful news later ne…” Shizuku said smilingly as she walked towards Jin’s parents.
Kame was about to asked that ‘wonderful news’ to his brother but decided not to when his father called them to start the celebration. He’ll just wait for the meantime.
-------------------
They were having a blissful chatting over dinner when Shizuku was asked if she still have a wish for her birthday.
The woman closed her eyes and clasped her hands. “The only wish I’ve been waiting for is… Kazuya and Jin’s great big news for us!” All turned their heads to the two men.
Kazuya and Jin looked at each other, both puzzled and confused. Kame stared at the older man with questioning look, but the older man just shrugged naively. The younger man heaved a sigh and turned to his brother, Shuji who’s beside him.
“Nii-chan, help me out… Onegai? I have no idea.”
“Ask no more, Kazuya. Leave the talking to your brilliant brother!” Shuji proudly said as he stood up and held a drinking glass.
“Ladies and Gentlemen!” the older man began. “It is my pleasure to announce that… tadadada…” Shuji made a thrilling pause. “… that Jin and Kazuya are engaged, finally!”
What the?! NO! This can’t be happening! This is… AAHH! Kame screamed silently.
