Most people who sell/buy multi-units don't eject the tenants, unless they plan on living in the building.

And besides for that, as much as you may hate moving to a new spot, YOU are what makes your nest cozy and warm and welcoming. Not the building itself. I've witnessed (albeit virtually) how much support you have up there. I'm sure your support system up there will get you to a new tree to put your nest in. And if not you'll just have to move here with me. :P
