I've even let my paid account expire.  I've got ads and only six userpics (which LJ chose for me and I haven't bothered changing)!  What is the world coming to!

All is well though, and my novel is coming along.  I'm THIS CLOSE to finishing chapter 18 (out of approximately 30 (maybe)).  Since it's taken me a little more than a year to get this far

Aw, thank you so much, hon! And you're quite correct, as an ageless being in good standing, I know not of this "40" of which you speak (and have a few more years before I'll possibly have to learn about it :P ;) ). *grins and polishes halo* ;)

Sorry about your ads and 6 randomly chosen userpics but I understand your reasoning, there's only so much time in a day and you have to pick and choose where you apply it. *sad nodding* :( Hopefully you can still be around a little bit, though! :D I'm glad you didn't choose to delete your account or anything! O_O *would be very, very sad at that since I've seen it happen* :(

I'm glad to hear that that novel is progressing along well (and thank you again for continuing to include me in the new chapters; ;) I'm an avid reader even if I contribute nothing of help back to you in the process *blush and sad face* ;) )!
