Airplane Novel Recs

I need a good, trashy, easy-to-read airplane novel.   Something entertaining that will make the time go by fast and that will not require too much concentration as I will be interrupted every three minutes by my children.

Anybody read the Sookie Stackhouse books that "True Blood" is based on?  Would they fit the bill?

Any other suggestions?

I liked Dies the Fire by SM Stirling.

Havent read any of the True Blood books. You can skip Twilight tho unless you really like overwrought teen romance.
