BookMooch seems like a neat idea. There are a ton of variations on book sharing and book cataloging sites, which is maybe one reason I haven't signed up for any, because I can't decide which I like best!
Are you using jellyfrog as a username on these sites? I wanted to see your lists, but couldn't locate you.
I'm using fremount on Shelfari and BookMooch. Here's my shelf. Shelfari is a beta site and they still have quite a few kinks to work out. Nothing too problematic though.
I started looking at some other sites and ran into the same doubts that you have... Maybe there's something better! So I stopped looking. ;)
