9-11. Some people forget. Some never will. What saddens me is the number of people that remember 9-11 and yet seem to forget our military personnel serving us now. Reach out and do something. Shake a hand, adopt a soldier, write a letter, send a care... package, donate to the Blue Star Mothers, thank your lucky stars.

I have about had it with our school system. I just received a phone call from our Middle School. Tell me why they don't have an issue with praying in the school system, but they do have a problem with the President addressing the students on Tuesday. They received their extension today. This means it will at least be at least September before they're redeployed back to the States. The one good thing that may come out of this is the fact that they're on the move once more and supposedly it will be to a little bit safer Camp.

Hard to believe they were down to a mere 28 days before coming home...

Today was my last day of school for the semester.
I don't go back until August!!!!!!

I haven't heard officially, but I did just listen to NBC news and they announced a blanket extension for ALL units currently in Iraq and Afghanistan and for those deploying there soon... taking them from a 12 mth deployment to a 15. Meaning it will be Sept. when Anthony comes home now.

I spoke with Anthony for about 5 minutes today. Cried most of the time, but at least he was ok. It had been almost a whole month since hearing from him. Says they're working insane hours with minimal sleep. He was proud to tell me about the FOX news reporter that had been with them.
