So, today is Valentine's Day and I'm so cranky. The day started at 6:30 with an automated phone call from dh's workplace. Grr. They apparently called back at 7:30, but I was blissfully asleep at that point. I spent at least two hours getting one child to go to sleep at which point she said she wanted to go lie in her bed. Fine, I woke up her father to go do that. The next child then woke up and has been awake ever since. $^*((*% jet lag. *primal screams* There, I feel a tiny bit better.

It is 6:30 am and I have been awake for more than half an hour now. I just want to go back to bed. Why did I have kids again? I don't even get up this early during the week. *sobs*

Last night we went to the contradance, as usual, and the band Hotpoint was playing. Now, normally I don't like Old Timey music, but these guys were HOT. They were fun and they had energy and they were fantastic musicians. DD2 didn't even fall asleep the whole time we were there (she usually falls asleep in the second half).

Just wanted to gripe about the evil person who left a stickie note on my car at Trader Joes today saying "If you can't park straight, leave it at home". Grrr. I was in the lines and it wasn't that crooked. Sheesh. What happened to the holiday spirit and all that?
