Yes, this. It just...really sucks all around? We never get to see any of their characters to their full potential. We don't get to see Albion formed. We don't get to see magic returning to the land. It just feels like the whole story has been building up to something, only for it to end right in the middle

I agree with everyone. It was a horrible, frustrating ending. Although at least Arthur learned about Merlin's magic.
