I thought that having a shimmery reflection underneath would be nice, but this is like stacking them on top of a rocket. FML. I don't think I can get this stuff to work in this way. Maybe I need Angelina film. Any thoughts? I know I need ( Read more... )

I think I would have tried iridescent chiffon or organza fabric, like the one you use for Halloween princess costumes (and which shine in all kinds of different colors. It's see through).

But I guess you tried something similar already. And I don't know Angelina film. Maybe it will do the trick.

I don't have easy access to that and don't want to go to the store for it either. I'm being a little lazy. :D

I don't know the film either. I have stitched waves with silver thread. Not sure how I'm feeling about it. I might have to go get chiffon or organza anyway:P

I was thinking of using film for the water underneath. People have suggested stitching and now I'm leaning towards that. ARGH. Too many decisions. I should go fill in the details of the people at least. But that's drawing and I suck at drawing.

What if I stitch OVER the film? Thanks for chatting with me about this!

I have stitched with silver thread. We'll see what I think about it later. Might need more.

I am thinking I will leave the splashes out. Less is more? Also, I need to do the essentials and make sure it's done before we leave and I have a zillion other things to do too! :D
