Brian Cox

Dec 12, 2012 08:44

I keep thinking it's Monday, it's been that kind of a week. Tomorrow will finally slow down for me. I plan to hermit myself in my house and not answer the phone (which oddly, keeps ringing of late.). So, I bring you a short vid from The Royal Institution's Advent Calendar. Brian Cox. Oh yum.

Yes! Blather to us *chin hands*

Starting work on my RBB today. Also wanting to start on my A/M/M fic. Need to clean my kitchen since it didn't actually get done the other day-too much pain.

I should start on my crafty Christmas projects as well.

LOL. Ok, maybe I will do that later, after I've made my new backgrounds (I've got three on the ironing board that are in progress at the moment).

Wahooo! Sounds like a fun day. I wish my day had less running around.

I HATE THE RUNNING AROUND! I mean, once in a while it's fun, but damn, the every day thing is kind of useless.

Also, entry edited to include some quilty blather:)

It completely cracks me up EVERY FUCKING TIME! I love it too. I love how he delivers it so straight and then cracks up. I also love his cheekbones and hands.

Quilty blather included now:)

Yay! Thanks for the right word. I see there are purple ones too. Eee, that makes my life better/more interesting.

Nope. I've never listened to it. I should, apparently:D

Yes, tell us all about it! :D

Actually, I love hearing about your quilt projects! (even though it makes me feel unaccomplished, but I live vicariously as a talented quilter through you! :D)

LOL. I am glad you are all interested in hearing about my quilty blather:) It's been added to this post:)

We all have our talents and we are all in awesome in our own unique ways.

Smut writing is happening RIGHT NOW. I want to whine about it, but I brought it all on myself.

Feel free to whine away, either here or in email...I am always ready to lend a listening ear, bb. :)

Oh god. I'm not going to whine about writing smut. I might include you on the doc after I've ripped all my hair out though:)

I'm always here for quilt blather even though I know nothing about quilting.

Today, I have invoices to pay and VAT calcultions to do and a short story to finish (LOLS, like this is ever going to be over) and some writer group stuff to prep and some online gifts to make. Other than that, I'm mostly trying to stick to my No More Fainting diet. I had porridge and a banana for breakfast and I just finished peanut butter on toast. I never normally eat this much and oooof, it's hard work. I'm supposed to have a herbal tea in an hour and I'm genuinely not sure I can face it.

Now I'm interested to know why people who don't quilt find this stuff interesting.

I love hearing about your job stuff even though I know nothing about that. Maybe it's similar?

Wow, big list! Eating is good, bb. I wish I could go on an anti-dizziness diet. I think mine is hormonal (and also due to lack of sleep). I don't think I'm in danger of fainting though. I haven't fainted for a long time.

I like it when people talk about their passions, whether I share them or not. It's the same reason I watch Heston's Fantastical Food - he's batshit but so knowledgeable and enthusiastic I can't help but be enthralled.

I was recommended more protein and low GI foods. I had another funny turn in the supermarket last night and spent an hour with my head between my knees before crawling to the kitchen for some spinach. I believe the words for this are 'fun times'.

Ah, yeah. I get that.

Hunh. That's it? Did they do any tests to make sure you were basically ok? Gah, it sounds awful. ::hugs::

I have never made a quilt for money before. Let's talk after you move, k? It is a joy to me to have the freedom to make what I feel moved to make. I'd probably be willing to just make them for you, if you pay the shipping:D
