I was too busy laughing, being absorbed, or chewing my fingernails to pay close attention to my notes this week. Make of them what you will. Eeee:D Can't wait a whole week for the next ep.

I had plenty of times where I was laughing, but then I would go straight back to chewing my fingernails. Also, I was so not ready for it to be over. I mean. Really. We needed more time!

You left feeling proud? I didn't have enough time to absorb what had happened to feel proud. I'm still stunned. And in denial that Uther is dead and Merlin hasn't revealed his magic.

I also felt prideful. I was clapping along like I was there XD

"Gaius says don’t do it. But Merlin is so convincing and freaking cute while he’s doing."

That actually worried me because he's finally moving away from a lot of what Gaius has to offer, which means Gaius is out-running his usefulness. Merlin is making his own decisions a lot more now, so it's only a matter of time for Gaius, too.

Merlin's face when Gaius said it was Morgana omg. If they don't have a magic duel and he doesn't lay the smack down, I'm gonna upset.

Eh, I don't think Gaius is outrunning his usefullness at all. Merlin often doesn't do what Gaius tells him to do and he desperately needs Gaius's help later, which Gaius gives.

If they don't have the magic duel in this season, it will happen next season.

He hasn't really been getting that much help from him this season, though. It's more like Merlin has a plan and he's going through with it, but Gaius finds out about it after he's made up his mind. Merlin doesn't even get a second opinion now.

I'll be surprised if she doesn't find out this season after all this.

I rewatched this morning and I thought about that scene and it seems like Merlin has grown up and Gaius appreciates that Merlin has a passion and his own wisdom now. I think Merlin is still getting a second opinion sometimes, but Gaius is no longer needed in the same way. Merlin is almost as old as Colin is by now:D

This episode was one big rollercoaster ride. Loved it.

I watched it again this morning (in my car on my laptop while I was killing time waiting for kids at Sunday School) and I was beading at the same time. I got 8 beads put on. I could not stop watching the show! SO INTENSE. I love it.
