So, I took the girls to NYC for six days, from Friday-Wed last week (aka, the last six days of June). We had a great trip. We got to spend lots of quality time with family, including my niece which made DD1 very happy:D We also got to see my little sister's apartment for the first time, and that was fun too. Sounds like a good trip and a busy week.

We really should coordinate Seattle trips one of these days--we're finalizing plans to go in late August.

Yes, it was a good trip and it has been a busy week!

We should definitely coordinate Seattle trips. We only go every other year, so our next trip will be summer of '12:D

Which American Girl Doll did DD1 get? MiniPlu was nuts for the series and dolls for a bit, but that has faded somewhat; good thing we hadn't gotten her anything yet!

Our girls have been to bed late two nights in a row; I'm really hoping I can get them back on schedule tomorrow night.

Good luck with the next trip plans! We're going to be in the Shenandoah Valley Fri-Sun, and I really need to plan more for that, myself!

DD1 inherited Kirsten. She was my sister's, so she didn't have a choice:) She loves the doll, though, so I'm glad she got into the books and was able to inherit a doll.

Have a great trip to the Shenandoah! It's so pretty out there. Are you camping or will you be in a cabin/hotel sort of arrangement?

We'll be at the Natural Bridge Hotel. It's for MiniPlu's adoption-group reunion.

Wow, that's great that you all are still in touch. The yahoo group I was involved with for DD1 has all but died out.
