Please tell me what your bike plan is? (And, heck, your swim plan, too?) I admit we haven't been practicing bike-riding since last summer, until this past week, but still - MiniPlu still needs me to hold on, and definitely does NOT want me to let go, although I often let go for a second or two here and there to see how she does. (Meanwhile, Two announced today that she intends to have training wheels forever. :P) Anyway - congrats to DD1!
Also, I'm totally charmed that DD1 wants a tea party. :D We did top-your-own pizzas for Two's 5th birthday party, and the kids really enjoyed that. I had to make sure I jotted down whose-pizza-went-where on the baking sheet, though!
I recall MiniPlu had to have a boatload of shots at age 5; they must have changed the schedule, though, because Two had a boatload at 4 and NONE at 5 (except a flu shot, which I asked for).
Oh, the bike plan was that she was going to ride her bike every day until she figured it out. She was basically there last fall, but then we put the bikes away and she got scared again. Someone suggested that we take the pedals off and make her scoot/coast around and it would take two days and indeed, once they can balance without having to worry about pedaling, it's like magic! Try taking the pedals off:)

The tea party was in lieu of a birthday party. We're just doing plain cheese pizza, so no issues with who is getting what:)
I don't recall DD1 getting any shots past age 2 or 3 or something, but clearly that can't be right. I wonder if VA does vaccinations differently. Apparently once we get these shots, there aren't any until age 11. One of the shots is polio. I can report more later after we them tomorrow:)
