Oh man.  I got up at almost 10 yesterday, so that was like half the day right there.  And we started making pizza around 3-4.  And then we got the girls to bed and I went to bed at 9:15 (although not to sleep until much later).  I got one load of laundry put away yesterday.  So, yesterday was basically laundry and pizza

Ooo, which Catherine Asaro book are you reading? I've read most of the Skolian Saga -- less the short stories she's published in magazines -- and I loved it to death.

The Ruby Dice. You must read it. Now. It was awesome. I stayed up until midnight finishing it. I think it's one of the best ones she's done.

By the way, I finally heard some gamelan music. It turns out I have this recording from my college that has a little snippet (four minutes) of gamelan music. Who knew?!

So, what does your gamelan snippet sound like? Balinese or Javanese?
