Tropical Storm - 8.27-28.2011

This weekend, tropical storm Irene is passing through the area. We're on the outskirts of the storm, so while we haven't seen the strong winds, it's been raining heavily for hours. Shalom, I added you to my friends list as I am a Torah Observant woman. It's good for us all to look for like minded people to add to our lists. Hello! Thank you so much for your comment and for adding me as a friend here on livejournal. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and to reading your posts. I used to have a few Torah Observant friends on livejournal, but most of them have either moved to other web communities or spend less time online. I'm eager to hear more about your faith from what you share online.

I would also love to learn more about how you volunteer with the Red Cross. I've just started exploring this recently, though I have volunteered with communications support at marathon races and other public service activities in the past.
