This weekend, tropical storm Irene is passing through the area. We're on the outskirts of the storm, so while we haven't seen the strong winds, it's been raining heavily for hours. This weekend was my first phone contesting experience (not counting field day 2008 where I made a handful of SSB contacts at the GOTA station).
