So, besides popping off to New York, my birthday and getting slightly addicted to Game Of Thrones, there is yet another reason why I've not been able to read and write here as much as I'd like to, these 3 Simpsons related pictures, may give you a few clues..!:

Congratulations, again!
And I concur with the other bit. Even our "tribe" now gets pressured to acquire a little entourage now that "gaybies" are trending. My grandmother, age 95, being in the "for" category.
I look at it this way, the fact that my, erm, compass pointed elsewhere seemed to confirm my suspicions that I wasn't meant to procreate.
But you guys... you will be great.

Which is remarkably forward thinking for a 95 year old! From what you've said, it's not really your bag, is it?!
If gay couples want to adopt great, but it's the same as straight couples, do it for the right reason (i.e. the kid!), not any of the other nonsense that you see...
Cheers, hoping that we can have a good crack at it!

Possibly they are insurance, it's nice to have somebody else to rely on, when your body is failing, I guess but they are a huge commitment before that time! You could also concentrate on earning a load of money to afford to have someone help you when you are in adult nappies if that's all it is!

And if you do ever turn into one of those parents I will delete you like THAT ::finger snap, yo::

Haha! No, don't delete me, I insist that you tell me precisely why I'm being a twat (in a very amusing way!) and wake me up if I do that; I expect nothing less from you!

Oh aye and don't be too weirded out but... me and Toni'd argued the toss about what are good names before we even wanted a kid and... we both really liked yours'! So, your first name is in the running (obviously if it's a girl!) Hope that's not all too odd!

I suppose I lean towards unusual names (Jeff is unusual over here, it's way more popular in the States) but not the horrendous 'unique' ones I hear in the NFL all the time (D'Brickashaw springs to mind..!)

I always just assumed that people who felt like having children was inevitable and had that whole "look down" approach to people who don't want them were like that because they don't have anything better going on, haha.
^^ That was not intended to undermine first part at all.
This comment is shit. You two will be awesome parents. I agree with your sentiments about people needing groin kicks.

Hate to say it but you'll be getting to that age when the first of these people show up in your friends' group, so here's a helpful guide (off the top of my head!) as they split into 3 distinct types:
1. People who always desperately wanted kids and DO see it as inevitable.
2. People who had a life then have kids and then talk about NOTHING FUCKING ELSE and...
3. People who never had anything better going on.
Thankfully, NOT ALL parents are like this.
I hope this last paragraph shows that you clearly didn't undermine the first part!
Also, that your comment is not shit, in fact I don't think you've ever posted a shit comment, there I said it! You can also be a part time groin kicker, when I take over the world and get to make it a criminal punishment!
Thanks again for the second bit of praise! :)
