Spending most of today shooting unboxing videos as well as a review of the premium reprint of the 1st D&D Against the Slave Lords from WotC. I'be got to say I like the reprints a lot but the 1st edition stuff really takes me back since that was really the last time I'd played D&D.

Well I got the Neil Gaiman review done for The Ocean at the End of the Lane and really liked the book quite a lot. One of the visitors brought up a good point about giving books a "score" but all in all I don't think it's a bad thing. I get so tired of people who crow America is the greatest country in the world. To clarify a bit more, what really irks me are folks who believe this “We’re the greatest!” spiel without ever having stepped out into the America which lays beyond fifty miles of their home let alone anywhere else in the world.

Finally had a chance to see 'Man of Steel' yesterday - pretty sad when you're so broke you have to catch it on dollar day at the cheap show - and have to say I really enjoyed it.
