I know what you mean. Very similar situation with my mum. Ended up catching a superbug from being in hospital for a week after they ignored/denied her problems so long it turned into pancreatitis. And then my boss had a nasty accident with a chainsaw + thigh, and even with private health insurance it was day 3 before they stitched him back up. Yep, not one, not two, but three days. Governments throw billions and billions into wars and defense from self-created enemies and bureaucratic nonsense and don't take care of the lifeblood people contributing the tax money they throw away.
