That...was amazing. It melded everything from the 'verse into a single fic that, coincidentally, also made fucking sense. Combining Gabe's Cobra vision was totally keen and on spot. I love your version of the backnstory and I really hope that you write more!

Thank you! As for writing more, I'm considering doing a short epilogue in which Ricky finally gets laid. I felt like he and Frank didn't really get a chance to finish their story.

This was fantastic. I love the way you weaved all the canon bits in and the really interesting character growth re: Mikey. Would also be all over an epilogue if you ended up writing one :D

Awesome sauce, I love this verse! Gabe as the violinist on the titanic is just perfect. And I loved mikeys pep talk to ricky about frank, 'you have everything but orgasms' lol, dude he's 15, what else is there! Goes without saying, a frank/ricky epilogue would be greatly appreciated .....

I'm kind of ridiculously in love with this story. I haven't read any Killjoy fic, despite being ruthlessly desperate to, because I read a primer that started with something like "...though we all know this anyway..." and I felt kind of tragically out of the loop and sad because apparently I missed so, so much, back in November, just from being distracted and far too busy.

So I think this may possibly be the best Killjoy fic to start with because it makes the entire primer (which just left me in the dust, seriously), make sense. And it's gorgeous. And the colours and the paint, that entire scene, was gorgeous, as was when Gerard showed up and saved Mikey after everything Mikey kept saying about not having family anymore.

And also, Gabe was awesome.

So, so good, definitely one of the best I've ever read.

Wow, thank you so much. I'm really glad to hear that I could help you make sense of the 'verse. I think it's a great concept, but I'm not so hot on how MCR chose to execute the narrative--it's hard to really get what's going on unless you watch the videos a million times to pick up every little half-second clue. And the whole thing where the Danger Days album is not music about the Killjoys' story but rather the music they're listening to in the story can get confusing. But it really is awesome once you have the framework down, and there's a lot of good fic out there. I strongly recommend Born to Motorbabies.
