Ok, so we're confirmed for a few weekends with a friend for Mammoth in Feb, but get a call today and she tells us we can't take our dog because 1) someone is allergic 2) second condo no one is responsible and no one likes dogs so we can't bring her. put me down for feb 10-12 for sure. i think my buddy victor wants to go. the guy you met at xtreme the other night. also my friend sam might want to go. i want to introduce you guys since it's his cabin that we've been staying at and hopefully you guys will hit it off and he'll invite you up to his place. his family booked their cabin for the whole month of february so i know he's itchin to go up soon.

i'll confirm this number by tomorrow.

The bindings are great! You should get them if you haven't done so already. They are really responsive and and have the right flexibility for the terrain. The only thing is, it's a bit of a bitch to get them in the right setting. Need to spend at least 30-45 minutes strapping in and out and readjusting with a screwdriver. so make sure you do it right when you set the new bindings onto your board.

I ended up buying new boots when I was up there. There's a nice little shop in the village with some gret prices. Ended up getting the Burton Boxer boots which are the most comfortable things I've ever worn on the slopes. just enough stiffness on it too.

Vic just told me he can't go because of school obligations. I'll ask my buddy Sam if he's game.

We'll go on the 10-12 too. Being that it's not a holiday weekend and there will be less people.

do u know if there are any cabins available to rent for just two out of the three days for President's day wknd?

The weekends they will pretty much make you pay for the three days regardless if you stay or not. Most people drive up the Friday and leave Monday after half day of boarding. If you're interested in going and looking for a group let me know. =) We met a few other LJers last year that we're going up with this year.

You mean Big Bear not Mammoth? We're planning trips to Mammoth if you're still interested let me know.
