Well this weekend I was pretty much PK'ed at Mammoth. The first run I did I took one of the bigger hits (jumps) and I didn't get enough speed to clear the tabletop and I wasn't expecting to extend from my grab so soon. So I caught my part of front side edge on the tabletop of the landing

So it's gonna be raining all weekend apparently, that means one thing, lots of snow in the mountains. :) I hope that the drive to Mammoth is ok and that it doesn't snow while we're driving there or back, so we don't spend more time than necessary in the car ( Read more... )

This has been another unbelievable year for snowboarding. Mammoth has been continually blessed with fresh powder every weekend I've been up thus far. I'm heading up again this weekend and I can't wait to try out my new Burton Hail boots. =) I just wish that Mammoth was closer.

Ok, so we're confirmed for a few weekends with a friend for Mammoth in Feb, but get a call today and she tells us we can't take our dog because 1) someone is allergic 2) second condo no one is responsible and no one likes dogs so we can't bring her. WTF sounds like someone's trying to shug us off for whatever reason. Perhaps I'm reading into it too ( Read more... )
