Allow me a quick, fandom-related rant.  This is directed at no one in particular, just the general lot of us "batshit insane" fans.

LIGHT SPOILERS, BEWARE.  (Trying to be vague though for those who really want to be spoiler-free)

Sometimes, I feel like the only person in the world excited for S6.  I don't get it.  What's up with all the hate, fandom ( Read more... )

warning: spoilers, sadface, random ramblings are random, supernatural, are you fucking serious?, you're doing it wrong

Well, then I'm doing fandom wrong, too, man. Cos I'm just happy to have the show to love, even when it does things like *cough*sending Dean off to Lisa*cough*. ;) I'm stoked for season 6. ...I'd like to think there's more true fans out there that -are- content; it's just that we're generally a quiet lot and the bitchy ones are louder than us, lol.

Haha, that must be it. We should be louder. Like Castiel's True Voice louder, lol.

I will always love that icon of yours, btw. He looks so good with that hair.

There is definitely not a lack of any of those things, especially the hot guys, hahaha. They know who their demographic is.

I must also be doing fandom wrong, then, because I'm just ecstatic that SPN has made it this far and is still (in my opinion) one of the best shows in prime time. I can't wait until S6 starts.

I agree with radge_one about the bitchy vs. content fans. We should just use Castiel's True Voice to tell them to shut up already and be glad we made it to S6 ( ... )

I totally told myself that I wasn't going to read any spoilers for next season, but that totally failed and some of them have made it pretty clear that they aren't going to ignore all the mythology that we've learned of so far. I won't go into detail in case you have read them, but I'm really excited to see how everything we know now gets tied back into a simpler storyline - one without the Apocalypse hanging over their heads. Because Heaven and Hell have been around longer than the 4th season of this show, and it will be intriguing to see what exactly do the forces of the universe do when they're not trying to end the world...

That's great to hear. I haven't had time to look through the spoilers yet.

I'd like to know what Cas was up to before the Apocalypse.

Well, I don't always agree with the show, but they're my boys no matter what, and I'm just happy I get to have them on my screen for another year. I don't care what happens, as long as they're back, you know? I hate that people just can't be happy, ever! Come on, we get another year of Winchesters, stop complaining and enjoy it!!
...
Yeah, I'm with you on that. :P
