Mighty sick with a cold so I'm not sure if this review truly does "The Evil of the Daleks" justice. I took around 40 screen captures, which can be found here

I agree 100% with everything you wrote, it's a terrific story and I'm glad to see you liked it very much! Yes, why oh why did these twits at the BBC junk it? I so would have loved to see the Daleks playing train and taking the Doctor for a ride :(
Can't you just imagine the expression of joy on the Doctor's face? Alpha, Beta and Omega are very sweet, aren't they? I'd give anything to see Jamie's reaction to the Daleks calling him a "friend". Lovely stuff!
It's such a typical Second Doctor solution, isn't it, turning the nasty guys into nice guys instead of destroying them :D I was also quite impressed by the battle scenes at the end, I think they looked _very_ good.
Yes!!! What a kick ass review! This is, without a doubt, one of the best DW serials there ever was and finding out that a copy of it has been discovered in the back of someone's closet somewhere would be like finding the holy grail

What a brilliant reply! Thank you so much. This absolutely cheered me help and help me forget about this wretched old cold.
It truly takes you aback seeing the Doctor's darker side reappear (all thanks to David Whitaker, I'm sure) and it creates some wonderful drama between Two and Jamie. I can only imagine how much Pat and Frazer enjoyed sinking their teeth into such meaty material.
How I wish the missing six episodes could be found; actually I'd be over the moon if Episode 6 turned up for the reveal of the Dalek Emperor alone!
