so. no dog yet. however, I'm going to try to call again today. you see, I called about adopting Penny and Sadie, the two dachshunds that I fell in love with, and they had been adopted a few days ago. sad, but I'm glad they got a home! since Penny was 5, I didn't want her to live her next 5-10 years in a shelter. but anyway, so they were adopted,

We got Dumbledore from Pets and People in Yukon, but through Petsmart in OKC. They rescue animals from kill shelters and just keep them until someone adopts them, they are no-kill. If they are old enough they spay/neuter them and if they aren't old enough they give you a certificate to have it done for free from a list of vets that they work with. I'm looking at their website right now and I don't see any weiner dogs (I couldn't figure out how to spell the real name, dox-in, there ya go!) but there are tons of dogs

yeah, I was told about that place. I checked out the website a little, they have alot of cute dogs! lookin through the site made me want to adopt them all. lol. I would also like to try and go out there to volunteer, I think it would be fun to go walk all the doggies.
