I did wonder that. But they also said the vampire blood wasn't working because of the poison, so maybe that negated it?

I should probably 'fess up to the fact that I use your reviews of The Originals like they're CliffsNotes. I wish I was rational/distanced enough (emotionally speaking) to watch TO without wanting to gouge my own eyes out with a fork but alas, I am not. So...thank you for keeping me up to date re: all things Elijah. In my defense re: not watching TO, I've completely stopped watching TVD as well. I've even stopped watching YouTube clips. I've finally accepted that Julie P. will never produce anything of substance...or at least not anything that I will consider satisfying. I can't wait for the day when I find a passion that is capable of replacing Elejah, Daniel Gillies and/or Nina Dobrev. At present, I just feel like I'm in an abusive relationship with Julie P
