Ticktok ticktok
The countdown has begun in earnest. I've only got four more days of class time left and I'm enjoying that unique sense of impending freedom/doom that accompanies the end of a class. I should have my license no later than the end of March, and that's if the state board drags it's feet. yes!!!! -
Yay!! New toy!!
I knew my Scroogy nature would pay off. I just bought the LG VU for $50 instead of $150 and got to keep my old (nicely priced) plan. YAY! SQUEEEEEE!! Whoo-hoo and similar!!!!!!! Now I've got to get all my old info onto the new phone... tried the sim card switch and it isn't working with me dammit.... still, cute phone. -
Holiday's are here again
What is the purpose of the holidays? Christmas - not a christian... so it's basically "Present Day", which this year has shown to be surprisingly skimpy on both the giving and receiving sides. Red Dwarf. A British comedy that used to come on our public broadcasting station. An awesome show and I'd love to watch a few more episodes. The Cat was my fav "Wait! Stop! I'm getting a part in the back of my hair!" lol, loved that episode. -
Hickey Removal 101
After hours of much fun I had a problem... a horrific hickey with less than 24 hours before I had to go to work. Here's how I managed.
Immediately apply ice - ASAP - keep it there. I did that for about 30 minutes

Coming to grips with my shallow nature.
O.k. Been on two dates with Tom... still in a state of severe dislike of that word but whatever. On the first meeting I immediately noted some false advertisement. At the wedding he looked a bit rough but that was fine; it was a casual dress wedding. Jeans, t-shirt, and sneakers; about the same as me.

Good news all!... well me mainly
Aforementioned Tom has agreed to datage. It was a quicker response than I thought but I'm not complaining. The only complication I can see is that he has a two year old son. I'm much more open to the idea than I used to be, and as it's joint custody I won't have to worry about a child in tow on every date. I'm actually impressed that he filed ( Read more... ) -

Much better
Still worn out but that second energy drink hasn't worn off yet and I still need to eat. Last night was much better; only 4 patients and they all behaved.
