Takahiro wouldn't have known a thing if he and Daichi hadn't been sleeping in the same bed. As it was, his sleep-fogged mind didn't register the weight shifting next to him until the door clicked quietly shut.
They were taking Daichi away.
He would never see Daichi again; tomorrow someone would come to make sure he never thought of Daichi again, either.
He had to leave.
He had only one possession to take, a pocketbook Daichi had given him. ‘Stupid,’ Takahiro whispered, fingering the soft leather, ‘I’d rather have you.’
