Our neighbors have a mlberry tree that hangs over our back walk. It still has leaves too. Plus we do get the damned berries. Makes the birds happy but it means our walk is not user friendly for what seems like forever each summer.

When our tree trimmer comes back to do the elm I'm gonna send him after it, just so it's not over the walk, the neighbors said they don't mind.

ohhhh. You've got a girl mulberry tree. The males drop some sort of pods, with lots of what must be pollen. It seems not to bother my friends that allergic to that kind of stuff. What's been bugging us this year is the doggoned sap leaking out of the tree in seemingly random places. it's really sweet, and smells really icky when it ferments. Started in the late summer and went till it started getting colder.

It was 11ºC today so it's not winter yet. I'm still not wearing a winter coat or socks.
