THIS COMMENT INCIDENTALLY CONTAINS A SPOILER FOR SUVEH NUX (highlight to read)

So it occurred to me as I was typing "fiat lux" into Suveh Nux last night (it has no effect) that the title of the game is essentially Fiat Lux but in a made-up language. This occurred to me as I was wondering why exactly the author would name the game after that particular spell.

Although in retrospect I guess Latin, while it sounds cool, isn't exactly the canonical language for that phrase, and the more familiar rendering to many people would be [highlight to read] "Let there be light."

And if you take the etymology hinted at for "nux" as canonical (which I'm not sure I do) then it's more "let there not be night! ^_^
