We have two smallish eggplants from our CSA delivery this past week, and I think perhaps we will try this (minus spicy red pepper as A and I are not spicy people, at least culinary-wise). Now I am sad we did not pick up the onion. :)

Jen's mom planted eggplant. Now they have eggplant coming out of their ears. It's very odd, having these food-like substances just coming out of the ground.
